Scotland Plans to Fold NatureScot, SEPA Into a Single Environment Body Holding Every Shooting Licence

The Scottish Government's Programme for Government proposes merging NatureScot, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency and Zero Waste Scotland into a single environment body by 2029. For shooting, that would put muirburn licences, grouse shoot licences under the 2024 Act, deer authorisations and general licences all under one roof, with a shadow board planned.
