Savage Puts a $689 Bottomland Camo AXIS 2 PRO on Dealer Order Sheets in 15 Chamberings, Left-Hand Included

Savage is pushing upgrade features down to the price where most deer rifles compete. AccuTrigger, a threaded fluted barrel and adjustable length of pull at a $689 MSRP give the AXIS 2 PRO a spec sheet that puts pressure on everything else in the entry-to-mid bolt-gun tier. Rivals at that price now have to explain what their extra dollars buy.
