Rather Outdoors Says Temu Cleared Its Counterfeit Tackle Listings in Four Months

Rather Outdoors, owner of 13 fishing brands including Zebco, Fox International and Preston Innovations, says Temu's Brand Guardian Initiative removed every infringing listing it could identify on the marketplace within four months of Temu approaching it in March, Angling International reported Nov. 4. Before that, the company says, product managers and outside lawyers spent hours each week chasing tens of thousands of copycat listings; Temu says its monitoring checks listings against more than 47 million images and 9.5 million keywords and covers more than 15,000 brands. The results are the company's and Temu's own, with no independent count, and they cover only the rights Rather shared with Temu, not Amazon or other platforms.
