HIKMICRO Launches STELLAR 4.0 and THUNDER 4.0 Thermals With 1280 Sensors

Chinese thermal maker HIKMICRO launched its STELLAR 4.0 thermal riflescope and THUNDER 4.0 clip-on lines Oct. 27, led by the SX75L(R) 4.0 scope and TX70CL 4.0 clip-on with 1280-resolution sensors, 12 mK sensitivity ratings and laser rangefinders the company rates to 1,200 meters. Lower models, including the SQ50L(R) 4.0 scope and the TQ50CL 4.0 and TQ35CL 4.0 clip-ons, use 640 sensors. HIKMICRO says the STELLAR 4.0 is the first model with its rangefinder built into the objective lens, and that the TX70CL 4.0 fits a 1280 sensor and 70mm lens into the same lens size as the earlier TQ50CL 3.0. The company has not published prices or U.S. availability.
