EU Parliament Environment Committee Rejects Bid to Block Lead Gunshot Restrictions

The EU Parliament's environment committee kept Europe's hunters on track to give up lead shot. Its 49-to-25 vote rejected Pietro Fiocchi's objection to the planned restriction, which the Commission says gives hunters a seven-year transition. For any company selling shotgun ammunition into Europe, a lead-free product plan is no longer optional.
