Brunswick's Mercury Outboard Earnings Jump 51% on High-Horsepower Demand

Brunswick's Mercury outboard business lifted adjusted operating earnings 51% on 7% more sales in the third quarter, and Navico's electronics earnings rose 36%. The fishing money at Brunswick sits in what gets bolted onto the hull: Propulsion and Engine Parts & Accessories earned $162.2 million on an adjusted basis, against $14.2 million for the entire Boat segment.
