British Firearms Distributor GMK Fined £800,000 Over Worker's Pyrotechnic Burns

GMK's prosecution shows that a firearms distributor handling pyrotechnics is running an explosives site in the regulator's eyes. HSE found the British company was storing pyrotechnics in parts of its Faldingworth production building that its explosives licence did not cover, on top of the safety failures behind a worker's burns. Distributors that touch energetic materials will be inspected like the explosives operations they are.
